Videography
Cameras are tools
Live at Evolution
Live at Evolution is a show made for Evolution Story Telling Company A.K.A BCIT Radio Arts & Entertainment Program.
I produced 11 episodes over the course of 12 weeks learning more about shooting and studio setup overtime. I used 4 cameras at once 3 on tripods and 1 in handheld to capture the footage.
For audio I used up to 5 dynamic mics for capturing instruments and vocal for the performance parts which were connected to audio interfaces which were then loaded up to audition on a laptop to record. Furthermore each person had a lav mic for the interview as that allowed them to worry less about talking into the mics and more about talking. Lastly each camera was equipped with a shotgun mic to collect backup audio and to make syncing video and audio easier once I entered the post production stage.

Stoneby Fake Commercial
Made for video editing class. An assignment to make a commercial about any thing so, I chose a nice round rock I found. The goal of the video is to entertain.
I produced this video all on my own from story boarding to filming and editing. I had the idea of a pet rock outliving it owner.
Do note that this is the first time I used a camera to film which was a Canon XA30.

Live at Evolution
Made for my advanced video editing class. The goal was to produce a silent short film which really just meant no dialogue.
I produced the whole thing, story boarding, filming, and editing. This was just after learning how to mask so it was not the best, I have since gotten a lot better at it.
I used a phone gymbal for the first time while shooting this video, and it helped with getting smooth footage while following people. Also the continuity errors are intentional and you can’t prove otherwise. (It was mainly due to time constraints and not having time to schedule an actual specific time to shoot.)
